In the January 23 episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya, Piolo Pascual and Bea Alonzo will be showing a different side of much-loved Filipino heroes Ninoy and Cory Aquino in a rare look at their inspiring love story. The poem that Ninoy made for Cory for their 19th wedding anniversary—which Jose Mari Chan later turned into a song—is proof of how deeply they felt for each other. This two-part MMK special traces their journey starting from their courtship, their wedding to the trials and tribulations they had to go through along with Ninoy’s political career.
