(UPDATE 3 DOH: 4 new A(H1N1) cases in RP; total now at 14

MANILA, Philippines – Another four new cases of Influenza A(H1N1) were reported by the Department of Health (DOH) today — bringing the total number of flu cases in the country to 14. 

According to reports, the new cases include a 19-year-old female and a seven-year-old girl from the US. The remaining two were a two-year-old girl and a 20-year-old male who had contact with Taiwanese nationals at a wedding in Zambales province.

This announcement came a day after the DOH confirmed four people to be infected with the virus. 

DOH Secretary Francisco Duque III yesterday identified the patients as a 47-year-old man, a 13-year-old boy, a 24-year-old woman and a one-year-old girl.
